Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Is this homebrew? A: This is an online brower based mmorpg. You need to use version 2.70+ for it will have some flash properties you just point your psp's built in web browser to it's website.

Q: Ok... When is it gonna be released? A: It's going to release this between may and june...hopefully.
Q: Can this brick my psp(s)? A: There has been no occurances of a web page bricking your psp.
Q: Is there anything you need to download anything onto your psp? A: No there isnt.
Q: 3d or 2d? A: 2D, but will have some 3D feel to it.
Q: Player killing? A: There is PVP.
Q: What happens when players die? A: They return to spawn.
Q: How parinoid are you? A: VERY, not like I'm parinoid, but I just know that it's not ready.
Q: Player communication? A: Yes.
Q: Max players (at time or accounts)? A: I don't know. Havent tested.
Q: Player customizations? A: No, at least not yet.
Q: Magic and Malee? A: Yes and yes.
Q: Player owned houses? A: Yes, I said it on the site but not here.

Q: Quests? A: Ye...Yeah.
Q: Number of quests?(inital)A: There is not much quest, most are writing some out for me, but I'm focused on mapping this world.

Q: Will the boards work on a psp? A: Yes.
Q: Is the whole site psp formatted? A: No, but it works on the psp nicely and easy to browse.
Q: What is the minimum wireless connection speed to get it to work? A: Have no clue, but I will say any.
Q: How much bandwidth per server do you have? A: It's all going to be done on one server, but there will be seperate game rooms that a person would call servers. Bandwith...I know it but I won't tell at the moment.
Q: Is this game going to be hard or easy or intermediate? A: Easy and simple.
Q: What age group are you targeting? A: Any, I'm doing it for fun though.
Q: Do you have to register to play? A: Yes.
Q: Do you need an email to register? A: Yes, Make sure it's the email you read, becuase I will send players with infomation on how the RPG is going.
Q: How psp compatable is it? A: You will see. We are still optomizing it though.
Q: Wou said you have connections with sony a few hundred pages back what does that mean? A: What? When did I ever say that? Are you sure that was me?
Q: How useful was this thread to the project? A: Very, becuase I didn't expect it to be anticipated. It's all for fun.
Q: How much did this thread influence your project? A: It influenced me more to break outside of the box when it comes to user-created originality. I see more portals being created than homebrew and not everybody has the right firmware or enough money to buy a new psp. So I'm going to going to beat down a path of games and playability rather than having content, or the content of other games.
Q: What inspired you to do this project? A: An old friend, an old team (wich I contributed to long ago) and an old project.
Q: How much time overall passed since you started this project? A: For the PSP, about since December.
Q: What do you think is in the future of this game? A: I see it as a fun project, not to gain anything from it. So I want people to have fun and hopefully enjoy it. As more join and become active, it will inspire us to create more content and give players more freedom and even the freedom to build their own world. I don't know what the future holds for it or what people will think about it, but I do know that it won't go forgotten too easily.
Q: Will there be music? A: Music, yes. Sound effects is what I don't know about. |
